Bishop San Diego and AVT Clergy

The joy of the AVT Bishop and Priests in the presence of a venerable father, Bishop Francisco San Diego, D.D., Bishop of Pasig.

Bishop San Diego and AVT Clergy

Always and forever a father to the AVT Clergy -- His Excellency, Francisco San Diego, D.D., Bishop of the Diocese of Pasig. Bishop San Diego was the first Filipino Bishop of what was then the Apostolic Vicariate of Palawan which has now "ceased to exist" and has become the Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay (Palawan) with His Excellency, Most Reverend Edgardo S. Juanich, D.D., as Vicar Apostolic and the Apostolic Vicariate of Puerto Princesa with His Excellency, Most Reverend Pedro D. Arigo, D.D., as Vicar Apostolic.

AVT Priests Voting in 2010

Through the efforts of Her Excellency, Ambassador Tita de Villa, the AVT Clergy were among the first Filipinos to try the SMARTMATIC-TIM online voting equipment.

Fr. Robert Co-Amurao, in fact, was the first to vote. But Monsignor Jose D. Delfin, Ph.D., was the first of the AVT Clergy to have his picture taken with his paper ballot.

AVT Priests Semi-Annual Retreat June 2009

The Bishop and the Clergy of the Apostolic Vicariate of Taytay had their semi-annual retreat in Bahay-Pari, San Carlos Seminary Formation Complex, Guadalupe, Makati, Metro Manila from June 29 to July 2, and then their updating seminar-workshop from July 2 to 4, 2009.

Retreat Facilitator was the Most Reverend Albert Alejo of the Society of Jesus, presently domiciled in Ateneo de Davao University, Davao City. Theme of the Retreat was "The Priest and His Personal Integrity."

Updating seminar-workshop facilitator was the indefatigable Ambassador Tita de Villa who apprised the AVT Clergy of PPCRV Updates and made the AVT Clergy the first "unofficial" group to try out the Smartmatic-TIM online voting facilities.
